GOST 10706 is a technical specification for straight welded steel pipes in the Russian State Standard (GOST) system, which is widely used in general engineering and industrial purposes. The standard stipulates that the production requirements of welded steel pipes are 426-1620 mm in outer diameter and 7.0-20.0 mm in wall thickness, suitable for conveying liquids, gases or for structural support.

GOST 10706 Chemical Requirement

Main chemical content requirements (usually include):

Main component: A minimum content standard is required, such as a certain amino acid content should reach a certain percentage.

Impurity content:

Water: limited to a certain percentage, usually less than 1%.
Ash: The maximum value allowed is specified, such as 0.5%.
Heavy metals: such as lead, cadmium, mercury, etc., are usually limited to a few ppm (parts per million).
Acid value/base value: It is required to be within the specified range, usually expressed in mg KOH/g.
