EN 10217-1 Welded Steel Tubes for Pressure Purposes

EN 10217-1 is a welded steel pipe standard developed by the European Committee for Standardization, which specifically regulates the technical requirements of non-alloy carbon steel welded round pipes used at room temperature.

The standard covers three strength grades: P195, P235, and P265. Each is divided into two inspection grades, TR1 and TR2. TR2 has stricter inspection requirements.

All appropriate measures shall be taken to prevent the addition of undesirable elements from scrap or other materials used in the steel making process.
