DIN 1630 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipes Supplier in China
Standard Overview:
DIN 1630 is a German standard that specifies high-performance carbon steel seamless pipes and tubes. It sets delivery conditions for high-quality, seamless, round, non-alloy steel tubes. DIN 1630 has been mostly withdrawn. It has been replaced by EN 10305-1, a European standard for precision steel tubes. However, DIN 1630 is still referenced for older or legacy applications.
Main Materials:
Carbon Steel. Specifically, it covers low-carbon steel pipes with different carbon contents:
- St 37.4 grade: carbon content up to 0.17%, manganese content down to 0.35%
- St 52.4 grade: carbon content up to 0.22%, manganese content up to 1.60%
Applications:
DIN 1630 steel pipes are used in high-performance, high-quality environments, including:
- Chemical plant construction
- Container manufacturing
- General mechanical engineering purposes
- Hydraulic systems (seamless hydraulic carbon steel pipes)
