Het staat bekend om zijn sterkte en uitstekende prestaties en wordt gebruikt in een groot aantal toepassingen, waaronder bouw- en constructieprojecten. Twee van de meest gebruikte specificaties voor stalen buizen zijn ASTM A500 en A513.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Op het eerste gezicht lijken ze op elkaar - beide zijn typisch <a href=\"https:\/\/uniasen.com\/nl\/producten\/erw-buis\/\">ERW<\/a>-maar ze verschillen op een aantal belangrijke manieren. Toch heeft elk type unieke kenmerken en voordelen. Deze specificatie omvat zowel naadloze als gelaste koudgevormde koolstofstalen buizen. Ze is verkrijgbaar in verschillende vormen:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rechthoekige en vierkante buizen (meestal HSS genoemd)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ronde buizen<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Van de twee is A500 de sterkere, duurzamere optie, met een hogere treksterkte. Deze specificatie is alleen van toepassing op koolstofstaal. De Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, is een bekend project dat blootgesteld A500 HSS gebruikt in het ontwerp. ASTM A500 buizen hebben specifieke mechanische eigenschappen. Er zijn verschillende kwaliteiten ASTM A500. Het is meestal van toepassing op elektrisch weerstand-gelast koolstofstaal en legeringen. Het heeft een lagere sterkte dan ASTM A500 maar biedt een hoge bewerkbaarheid. Het ASTM A513 buizenstelsel is ook beschikbaar in rechthoekig, vierkant en rond buizenstelsel. Hoewel configuraties verschillen, zoals:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type 1 (zoals gelast)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type 2 (verbeterd oppervlak),<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type 5 (DOM)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type 6 (speciale gladde ID)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deze buizen kunnen worden gebogen en gefabriceerd en daarom kunnen ze gemakkelijk worden bewerkt met kleine toleranties. Hierdoor zijn ze een perfecte keuze voor buizen in precisieonderdelen die worden gebruikt in commerci\u00eble apparaten en toepassingen in de auto-industrie.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Belangrijkste verschillen<\/h2>\n<h3>Samenstelling en mechanische eigenschappen<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASTM A500 Tubing is voornamelijk samengesteld uit hoogwaardig staal. Het bevat voornamelijk ijzer met een laag koolstofgehalte. Het bevat echter ook metalen zoals mangaan, silicium en koper. De samenstelling van deze elementen varieert met verschillende kwaliteiten van dit buismateriaal. Ontworpen voor structurele doeleinden, is het buizenstelsel A500 zeer kneedbaar en lasbaar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASTM A513-buizen zijn gemaakt van 1008-1015 staal, dat voornamelijk ijzer bevat met een kleine hoeveelheid koolstof. De mechanische en chemische eigenschappen vari\u00ebren voor de verschillende soorten ASTM A513-buizen.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Productieproces<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het productieproces verschilt ook tussen de twee buizen. ASTM A500 wordt voornamelijk koudgevormd gelast (ERW of onder poederdek).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASTM A513-buizen worden geproduceerd volgens het ERW-proces (Electric-Resistance Welding). Het is gemaakt van warm of koud gewalst staal zoals gespecificeerd.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Afwerking oppervlak<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A500 heeft een typische freesafwerking, terwijl A513 - vooral DOM - een veel gladder, schoner oppervlak biedt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Toepassingen<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met een hoge structurele sterkte, wordt ASTM A500 stalen buis vaak geselecteerd voor structurele rollen. Veel voorkomende toepassingen zijn bruggen, structurele stalen frames en autostructuren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Omdat ASTM A513 buismateriaal een goede oppervlakteafwerking heeft en gemakkelijk buigbaar is, wordt het gebruikt om mechanische onderdelen en assemblages op maat te maken. Daarnaast kunnen er auto-onderdelen, frames, meubels en fitnessapparatuur van worden gemaakt.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Prijs<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A500 is over het algemeen goedkoper omdat het ruimere toleranties heeft. Vooral Type 5 DOM (A513) is duurder vanwege de superieure afwerking en de nauwe toleranties.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Conclusie<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zowel ASTM A500 als ASTM A513 stalen buizen spelen een cruciale rol in verschillende toepassingen. Maar als het gaat om het evalueren van de beste buis voor jouw project, is zorgvuldige selectie de sleutel.
