Deze geschouderde pijp wordt voornamelijk gebruikt in de mijnbouw, cement-, beton- en andere industrie\u00ebn. Aan beide uiteinden zijn metalen ringen gelast, waardoor de pijpen gemakkelijker met elkaar kunnen worden verbonden. Dit ontwerp lijkt een beetje op een flensverbinding, maar de schouderring is direct aan de buitenkant van de pijpmond gelast. Tijdens de installatie moet de ring zorgvuldig worden afgesteld om vervorming te voorkomen.<\/p>\n<p>Om de kwaliteit te waarborgen, wordt dit type buis getest op waterdruk voordat het de fabriek verlaat. Omdat de aansluiting handig en stevig is, kunnen veel industri\u00eble apparaten niet zonder.<\/p>\n<p>Het oppervlak van de pijp kan ook thermisch worden verzinkt, zodat deze lange tijd kan worden gebruikt in een roestgevoelige omgeving.
