BS EN 10224 Carbon Steel Tubes

The EN 10224 standard specifies steel pipes for conveying gases and liquids. The steel pipes to this standard are mainly carbon steel and alloy steel, and apply to both welded and seamless pipes. Common grades include L235, L275 and L355.

EN 10224 ensures the safety and reliability of steel pipes for drinking water, sewage and natural gas. It requires traceability markings on the pipes, and certificates of conformity and test reports must be available when leaving the factory. This standard pipe is widely used in water, wastewater and natural gas projects.
