La teneur en carbone conf\u00e8re au tube sa r\u00e9sistance et sa duret\u00e9, tandis que le mangan\u00e8se renforce sa t\u00e9nacit\u00e9. Le phosphore et le soufre sont r\u00e9duits au minimum pour \u00e9viter la fragilit\u00e9, et le silicium est ajout\u00e9 pour am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la
